The Frazier 6: Video of DRC, the Orphanage and Children

We had a video made of DeWayne's trip to Congo. I just wanted to share it with all of you all. Let me know what you think!

Our Adoption Timeline

June 2009 - Decided to begin actively researching adoption
September 2009 - Began attending classes on Foster/Adopt
November 16 - Finished PS-MAPP training, began having doubts
November 21 - Last Home Study visit
December - Began having lots of doubts but moved forward
February 20, 2010 - Received our Foster/Adopt license and Home Study
March-April - Pursued adoption of two boys in Florida. Found out we were blatantly lied to by their worker. Realized that God was the one placing doubts in our minds. Began praying diligently and decided (after much research) to adopt from Rwanda.
May 8 - Contacted Tina at Mugisha Ministries
May 18 - Mailed application to Mugisha Ministries
May 24 - Officially accepted job offer at CU
June 1 - Application accepted by Mugisha Ministries
June 7 - Received both birth certificates in the mail. Unfortunately, no marriage certificate. Apparently we never got married. They can't find any record of it. I'm going to call today!
January 20, 2011 - Ordered a our marriage license. Hopefully they find it this time!
January 23 - Our sample t-shirts came in the mail today!
January 25 - Looks like we are still not married! I have to go to the court house in Jefferson County and wait while they look for it because the state can't find our license!
February 23 - Decided to pursue an independent adoption from DRC
March 4 - First Home Study visit
March 11 - Second Home Study visit
March 17 - Met with the Ambassador
March 18 - DeWayne got his new passport and visa
April 2 - Received finalized home study
April 5 - Mailed I600a
April11 - Received text from USCIS that our I600a has been received
April 12 - DeWayne met M and S for the first time!
April 20 - Received our fingerprint appointments in the mail
LOTS TO FILL IN
September 25 - Leave for Kinshasa
September 26 - Arrive in Kinshasa, meet Safari
September 29 - Embassy Drop off appointment
Oct 3 - Visa appt - we didn't make it because we didn't have the kids' passports yet
Oct 6 - Received passports
Oct 14 - Visa interview
Oct 24 - Received visas
Oct 25 - submitted to DGM
Oct 27 - Received exit letter and left Kinshasa
Oct 28 - Arrived home with 3 new US citizens!
